Circular Audit

Rising raw material prices and increasingly stringent environmental regulations make efficient resource management a matter of competitiveness. CirkArena’s circular audit identifies hidden losses in material and waste streams, quantifies savings potential, and proposes specific measures without the need for unnecessary investments.

The audit includes mapping material and waste streams, analyzing operational inputs and outputs, and reviewing purchasing and waste management systems. The output is a report evaluating the current state and providing specific recommendations, including a quantification of the economic and environmental impact.

The service comes in two forms. Circular Audit I is an analysis of a company’s or organization’s operations with proposed measures for applying circular economy principles, seeking specific savings in day-to-day operations. Circular Audit II serves as an expert assessment of projects submitted to calls for proposals in circular economy grant programs, i.e., to verify their quality, effectiveness, and benefits.

The audit results in quantified savings in the form of calculations of reductions in material costs and CO₂ emissions, often in the tens of percent, as well as an action plan with specific recommendations for the management of materials, raw materials, and waste. In specific cases, the audit can be funded through grant programs and may qualify for incentives in upcoming calls for proposals. The audit also provides a basis for ESG reporting and sustainability communication.
