Materials and Metallurgical Research (MMV) has officially launched a strategic collaboration with the German organization Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The ceremonial signing of the agreement took place during an international conference in Třinec, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Ostrava-based innovation center CirkArena. This partnership combines cutting-edge Czech expertise in metallurgy with the global strength of Europe’s leading applied research organization. The shared goal is to accelerate technology transfer for the circular economy, industrial decarbonization, and the efficient use of secondary raw materials.
“Collaborating with such a renowned partner is both a recognition of our work to date and a commitment. Thanks to this, CirkArena is becoming an integral part of the European research elite,” said Jakub Svrček on behalf of MMV.
