Career opportunities related to the CirkArena project

MMV is the main promoter of the CirkArena project, a newly built center for research and innovation in the field of circular economy, which will focus primarily on waste utilization and recovery. Its goal is to deliver solutions that connect research with practice and help society transition to a sustainable and low-carbon economy. As this long-term project develops, new job opportunities will arise, particularly in the areas of research, technical operations, and the development of innovative infrastructure. The new research center in Třinec is scheduled to be fully operational in 2028. Until then, specialized project activities will be carried out by individual project partners within their existing infrastructure capacities. New positions related to CirkArena will be posted here on our website and on the project website www.cirkarena.cz.

MMV’s research activities within CirkArena include:

  • testing and development of materials from industrial waste (e.g., slag, scale, fly ash, etc.)
  • design of recycling processes and their verification in laboratory and semi-industrial conditions
  • cooperation with industrial companies and municipalities on specific tasks
  • presentation of results at professional forums and publication in prestigious journals
  • active involvement in obtaining research and application projects

CirkArena offers researchers modern laboratories, space for pilot testing of technologies, and direct contact with the application sphere. The outputs are aimed not only at the professional community, but also at specific solutions that can be used in practice.
